"One of the best things about this band is their live performance. They create an atmosphere that envelops the listener like a wall of sound one does not want to escape from. They are powerful performance artists who weave smoky, woodsy vocals into elemental guitar melodies, harmonies, and percussion" ~Fort Worth Texas Magazine~
This is not a KatsüK show, but The Skin & Bones Drum Cult. SBDC is a gathering of nonconformity, in sync, improvisational, tribal dance music with real musicians, multiple drummers, bass, vocals, flutes, violin and other strange contraptions. Comprised of some of Fort Worth's hottest and most eclectic groups, THE SKIN & BONES DRUM CULT gatherings are of rare occurrence, happening maybe twice a year. This is our welcoming of Spring and the Fertility of Grand Imaginings into Form. Come experience this through a truly unforgettable and powerful live performance.
THEME: Awakening the Fire. Spring is the time when we emerge from a long dark winter or drama of our life, shed the old skin and bask in the return of the warming sun and newly green. It is a new chance. A time of unlimited potential and opportunity. Let's get it right together.
